Football has been part of my life since I was five years old. From the fields of Illinois to the sidelines of Coastal Carolina University, every snap — whether I took it or not — shaped who I am as a coach, a leader, and a person. I started On The Money QB Academy because I believe this game has given me too much not to give it back.
I started playing quarterback at five years old and never looked back. Growing up in Illinois, I played at both St. Patrick High School and Nazareth Academy, where I developed into one of the most recruited quarterbacks in the country.
Going into my junior season, I was a top-10 rated quarterback in the nation with numerous Division I offers. Then I tore my ACL — three times in two years. Setbacks that would have ended most careers before they started.
"The injuries didn't break me. They taught me that resilience is the most important trait a quarterback — and a person — can have."
I headed west to Shasta Community College in California, rebuilt my game from the ground up, and earned Division I offers for the second time in my career — before a torn MCL forced yet another detour.
After a gap year, I committed to Coastal Carolina University on a walk-on scholarship. I spent three years as a backup and earned Most Improved Quarterback and Scout Team Player of the Year.
My career stats: 1 for 1, 5 yards, and a touchdown. That one throw was a culmination of years of suffering, hard work, attention to detail, grit, and passion. It was by far the best moment of my football career.
At Coastal Carolina, I had the rare opportunity to compete alongside Grayson McCall — one of the most accurate passers in NCAA history. Beyond my own teammates, I had the privilege of meeting and reviewing film with some of the greatest to ever play the position:
That knowledge doesn't stay in the film room. I bring it to every single session.
I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics with an engineering concentration and a minor in mathematics. I went on to work as a nuclear physicist for the United States Government before moving into my current role as a Senior Process Development Engineer for a microchip and quantum computing company.
I firmly believe that a good quarterback has the athletic ability — but the best quarterbacks are those who lead in the classroom and with their mind. The game is won and lost before you ever step on the field. That's why my goal isn't just to develop your athlete's talent, but to sharpen their ability to think, process, and compete at a high intellectual level. The quarterback who can out-think the defense is always more dangerous than the one who can only outrun it.
When I coach your athlete, they're learning from someone who has mastered the mental and physical demands of performing at the highest level — both on the field and off it.
"I started this because I love football almost as much as my wife. But what I really want is to develop the next generation of great people — not just great quarterbacks."
To me, a quarterback is more than a stat line or a highlight reel on Friday night. It's the player who lifts teammates when the game is on the line. The one who leads with composure, communicates with clarity, and holds everyone — including themselves — to a higher standard.
At On The Money QB Academy, your son or daughter won't just learn how to throw a better spiral. They'll learn how to lead. How to compete. How to handle adversity — because I've lived it, and I know exactly how it feels to be doubted, counted out, knocked down, and forgotten, only to build yourself back up with the understanding of what it truly takes to come out the other side not only a successful quarterback, but an even better person.
Every level is welcome. Every athlete matters. Let's get to work.
Each private session is fully tailored to where your athlete is right now. Whether we're working on footwork fundamentals, release mechanics, reading coverages, or building pocket confidence — every rep has a purpose.
This is the best option for athletes who want to get started right away, try things out, or supplement their existing team training with elite quarterback-specific coaching.
